  • Iran, Village of Torut (1959) - our convoy - two jeeps and two power wagons - just outside the village of Torut on the northern edge of the Dashat-i-Kevir. Tall figure is me. Feiredoon Saleh is on my right.
  • Iran, Tehran (1958) - my Armenian secretary, Anabella Jordanidis.
  • Iran, Tehran (1959) - Mohammed Taghi (Jack) Razaghnia. My best Iranian friend, he was married to Fidelia Baldonado -a hispanic girl from Arizona. His father owned our officea building. After the fall of the Shah, he managed to get his fortune out of the country and was last heard of driving his Rolls through the streets of London.
